Cape Town, South Africa (PressExposure) March 22, 2011 -- RE/MAX the largest Realtor organisation and franchise group in the world recently held their annual awards convention at the Mandaly Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Property professionals from all over the world attended this prestigious convention including a delegation from South Africa. Locally RE/MAX Southern Africa is also the top estate agency group in South Africa, supported by a strong network of broker/owners, franchises in other words.
This year Mark Brickles of RE/MAX Ultra Select walked away with the coveted award of top broker/owner in Southern Africa. Mark is the owner of the RE/MAX franchise servicing Grassy Park and surrounds.
Mark is also known as mister technology by fellow broker/owners in the group and according to him, Mark Brickles his efforts paid dividends this year, helping his business grow in this very difficult market.
In July 2010 Mark employed the services of local internet marketing consultant Tonie Konig, owner of Main Street Marketing and together they build an online marketing campaign comprising video, blogs and article marketing to achieve top search results in the relevant communities.
Says Mark, "the RE/MAX convention confirmed what we were working on and I'm excited to return home and continue with this marketing process because it has worked so well for me, after the initial outlay my advertising cost is actually down whilst my leads generation results are up."
Says Konig, "Mark is a dream client because he is not scared to take on new challenges, plus he had the vision to take what I recommended for his business and run with it, at the rate that technology is developing and especially the mobile market business has to be faster on the up take of these new marketing opportunities because the dividends are big as are the losses when your competitor beats you to it."
Mark says that his 1st meeting upon returning to South Africa will be with Main Street Marketing to see the new tricks he learned at the convention applied and to make sure he achieves this honour again next year.
