Seekirch, Germany (PressExposure) February 16, 2010 -- The AIDA-principle still works: • A = Attention = Arrest attention - using all marketing media, like public relation, exhibitions, sales staff, advertisement, etc. • I = Interest = Awaken curiosity - i. e. to present to the [potential] client something new / different • D = Desire = Awake the wish to own - for investment goods e. g. due to better cost structures, more flexibility compared to the competition, better guarantees, higher performance, etc. and • A = Action = to contact the potential client/interested party and initiate his action to contact us using one of the ways made available to him

During recessive market phases or immediately thereafter the value of a consistent marketing work shows itself: The dependency of a company on special market segments and / or regional markets or clients is relatively small. The entrepreneur and his staff can sleep more easily and at the same time it is ensured that the company will participate in a 're-start' of the economy / the respective market as in fact it never has really been away.

There are quite some possibilities at hand, whether perfectly to be found websites, newsletters, participating in discussion fora and social networks, regular press releases in cost-free internet portals, technical releases on respective sites, consistent sales action, and many more.

The keywords of a good marketing remain, like

- ‚targeted' - 'consistent' - 'client oriented'

The starting point is, however, the knowledge and analysis of all potential clients and competition everywhere - i. e. in all regions of the world which are of interest for the company / the product (in accordance with the respective market segments, and economic sectors, the client needs, etc.) and fulfils them to the best possible degree - e. g. also to have information with regard to the clients of the clients, to assist them by the use of such products to reach their clients / final users more easily and thus to initiate an increased success for them on their markets.

Mnemotechnic verses could be:

Helping others to success leads to own success" | „Think of others and they think of you"

The economic cycles do not stop and also the products of the different producers are always needed. Only the buying frequency and price elasticity diminish during a recession or shortly thereafter.

Products, however, which fulfil or even overfulfil, the wishes / requirements of a client, be it due to a guarantee or special features, helping the client on his markets, including the extensive use of the own core competencies, etc., can still be sold at acceptable prices.

Then it will become obvious who had in mind both technical aspects AND market requirements / client needs. Only one of them will never be sufficient.
