Doylestown, PA (PressExposure) February 21, 2010 -- The Womens' Business Development Board of Directors and The Women's Business Enterprise Council are pleased to announce that Maureen Donze O'Connor, CEO of LEM Products Inc., will be discussing "Lessons Learned on the Path to Recovery" at the Executive Leadership Luncheon to be held on February 24th, 2010 at the Philadelphia Marriott.
The Women's Business Development Center (WBDC), formed in 1995, fosters the development and retention of successful businesses by delivering resources that enable individuals to start new businesses and grow existing ones. While the center is dedicated to the economic empowerment of women, the services are open to all individuals.
The Executive Leadership Luncheon series link women business enterprises with women business executives, supplier diversity and purchasing professionals to gain access to opportunities and to build social and power networks.
WOMEN & DIVERSITY In 1998 Maureen received one of the first awards ever issued by NAWBO in the Philadelphia region as a Top Woman Business Owner in a Non-Traditional Business, manufacturing.
She was honored in 2004 as one of the top 500 Women owned businesses in the United States, in 2005, 2006 and 2007 Maureen was named to the top 100 list. In 2008 she was included in WBENC honors to the most successful 50 Women Owned Business in the region.
In 2006 WBENC selected Maureen as STAR Woman Business Owner in PA, NJ and DE by WBENC and received her award at the Black-tie celebration held at the National Museum in Washington DC. WBENC again recognized Maureen's contributions to our region by awarding her the coveted Leadership Award in 2007.
Maureen recognizes the importance of actively participating in and contributing to the successes of WBE and diversity programs. Maureen states, "The value of WBE certification continues to escalate as more and more corporations actively research the capabilities and synergies available to them through the use of the WBE directory". Maureen actively mentors and works with women business owners, sharing her resources and experience.

She thrives on leading LEM Products Inc. through ever-changing economic conditions, global competition, evolving technologies, and strategic marketing challenges.
Maureen O'Connor, CEO, has received numerous awards for her leadership, her commitment to diversity in the workplace and community involvement. Maureen is an advocate for the education of Autistic children and the Comprehensive Learning Center in Southampton, Bucks County, PA.
