Hamburg, Germany (PressExposure) June 11, 2010 -- From June 15-16, 2010, SGS exhibits at the Technical Conference on Wind Turbine Rotor Blades 2010 in Essen, Germany, which is organized by the Haus der Technik (House of Technique). SGS will present its wind energy services throughout the conference in the exhibition area.
This event is dedicated solely to the topic of rotor blades and aims to widen the attendees´ knowledge of construction, production, fatigue and approval of rotor blades on the bases of rotor aerodynamics and the consequent static and dynamic stresses and strains.
This event offers a good opportunity for SGS Renewable Energy Services not only to stay up-to-date with new technologies and the latest developments in the wind energy industry, but also to demonstrate its Wind Turbine Blade Testing capabilities. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology for load application and blade measurements, the WETC can perform static and fatigue tests for various purposes including certification testing according to IEC 61400-23, blade design validation, manufacturing quality testing and validation of repairs and design changes.
