Wichita, KS (PressExposure) December 26, 2007 -- It's cold outside, you're stressed out from the holidays and soon you'll be ready to scrap your New Year's resolutions. You don't want to work out, eat vegetables, or spend more quality time with your relatives. You want to do exactly as you please and not feel guilty about it.
Live Like A Cat Day is a new holiday to indulge yourself, focus on you, and paw bat away any to-do lists, chores, or emotional obligations. We all have a hard time actually relaxing-even on so called relaxing holidays we are busy planning picnics, buying fireworks, and dressing the kids in matching bonnets. Enough already! Lay on the couch, order food in, and watch TV.
Live Like A Cat Day is quickly becoming an Internet phenomenon with thousands of participants already anxious to do nothing all day long. The holiday was inspired by Bobo, a cat owned by James and Kerri Thomson of Wichita, Kansas. In the summer of 2007, James and Kerri experienced the day to day stresses of planning their wedding while Bobo relaxed and remained completely oblivious to any chaos going on in the world around her.
While their own private Civil War raged over invitations and napkin colors, Bobo could often be found blissed out at the bottom of the clothes hamper. They wanted to be her. And like that, Live Like a Cat Day was born.
The first annual Live Like a Cat Day will take place on January 12, 2008. If you would like to participate in Live Like A Cat Day, visit the official website at [http://www.LiveLikeaCatday.com] for complete information. The site also includes a live web cam where you can watch Bobo the cat. Press release distribution by PressReleasePoint(http://www.pressreleasepoint.com/)
