This most recent success was the securing of a $150,000.00 settlement from a national company for its client, Mr. Reveles, in a sexual harassment case.
The suit stemmed from a complaint brought by Reveles, who is a male, against female superior and other colleagues in the company where he worked. Among the issues raised in the complaint were sexual harassment and discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination in violation of public policy.
The claim stemmed from actions taken against Reveles after he turned down the sexual proposal of his female superior. In retaliation for this refusal, Reveles was transferred to another place of work, denied promotions and was even demoted. This retaliatory treatment continued until his termination on November 30, 2007.
Reveles retained the Employment Law Division of Mesriani Law Group, soon thereafter. The Employment Law Division guided the claim through a stringent opposition from the employer and its counsel.
