Mile Long Advertising Continues Its Guinness World Record Attempt

Tunbridge Wells, United Kingdom (PressExposure) August 15, 2009 -- The World's longest advertising billboard, Mile Long Advertising, is currently attempting it's Guinness World Record attempt by gaining advertisers attention to place one of their website's banners on the mile long billboard.

The Mile Long Advertising billboard needs over 5000 website banners in total from any website owner, blog owner or business in order to successfully complete the mile of banners that stretch a real world mile on your computer screen.

Each advertiser has a banner that measures 180 x 1057 pixels. There are a total of 5365 banners lined up together, meaning the whole billboard image stretches 5,670,805 pixels in length. That's the equivalent of three and a half Empire State Buildings tall!
