New York, NY (PressExposure) March 05, 2013 -- The six-foot tall fashion model, Bashe Carter, attended this year's one-of-a-kind philanthropic fashion event, "The Reality of FASHION The Reality of AIDS." (http://www.realityontherunway.com/ ) The event took place the evening of February 9, 2013 at the Altman Building in NYC, where reality stars walked the runway to raise awareness and funds for HIV and AIDS. Some of the participating celebrities were Janice Dickinson, Lil Kim, and Deena Cortese from the Jersey Shore. Bashe, along with many others, attended to support the fight against HIV and AIDS.
"This event was very special to me," states model Bashe Carter. "To think that there are 300,000 people in the U.S that do not know they are infected with this epidemic is a very scary thing, and helping to raise awareness for this amazing cause is truly an honor. I think everyone should join the fight and help us find a cure for this terrible disease."
Bashe Carter first came on to the scene in 2006, and since then has excelled in the modeling industry. Bashe can be seen in the pages of Fashion Manuscript Magazine strutting the runway for Fashion Week Fashion Show, EMERGE! Bashe has also modeled for designers such as BCBG's Max Azria, Gucci, Guess, GAP, H&M, and YSL. This AMTC convention winner for best runway and photography has also worked on smaller but just as important projects, such as the Pre- Valentine's Day Fund-Raiser for Performing Arts. With her versatility, Bashe Carter is featured on hip-hop group Dip Set's new music video "Get Busy," directed by Janelle Abraham.
