Louisville, KY - Jan 19, 2012 - The Mystery Shopping Providers Association North America - the leading professional trade association dedicated to improving service quality through metrics of actual shoppers - today announced the date and location for its 2012 Annual North American Conference. After an extensive review of North American locations, MSPA NA selected San Diego; further it will hold its 14th annual conference at the Westin Gaslamp Quarter Hotel October 17-19, 2012.
"While we provide the most cutting edge content, subjects, discussions for optimizing our members' businesses, we know that the location of an annual conference is a significant factor for business owners, small and large," said Stefan Doomanis, MSPA's 2012 Conference Committee Chair. "The city of San Diego will be a nice draw in the fall and the Westin Gaslamp Quarter Hotel will provide the facilities, hospitality, and services we need to present the most dynamic program for our members and guests."
Given rapidly changing technology, political landscapes, business issues - to say nothing of a national election just days after the meeting - mystery shopping members will be forced to keep track of many issues beyond their own businesses in 2012. The annual conference will allow them to not only catch up on those subjects, but to collaborate with their peers to meet tomorrow's challenges as well.
The selection of San Diego follows a highly successful 2011 conference in Atlanta, which featured several international mystery shopping companies discussing best practices and collaborative measures to help businesses improve customer service delivery. The opening event of the 2012 conference will be the Grand Opening Reception in the Exhibit Hall beginning at 5 p.m. PT on Wednesday, October. 17, 2012. The Conference will continue through Friday afternoon, October 19, 2012.
