Delhi, India (PressExposure) March 25, 2009 -- On Monday 23rd March, the much awaited car Nano has been launched by Tata Motors in Mumbai. Our sources have revealed that dealers are overwhelmed by the huge response they are getting from the people.
The reports have suggested that the company is preparing itself for the after sale servicing processes and the training for servicing staff has been started at the outlets across the country.
The general manager of the city-based BU Bhandari Automobile, M A Khan has told our correspondents that his team is going through the after servicing training at the Pune center organised by the Tata Motors.
The booking for the four seater car will start from April 9 and it will remain open till April 25. A staff member of Pandit Auto has said that people are posing lots of queries about Nano and its price. He then added that people are ready to pay the booking amount without asking much about the quality of this amazing car.
The car is being designed and developed by the company in its Pune unit but it is currently manufacturing in limited numbers at Pantnagar in Uttarakhand. For its mass production, a dedicated new plant will get ready by 2010 at Sanand in Gujarat.
The bookings will be accepted by the representatives of the largest bank of India SBI. A representative of this bank will be present at each dealer's office and the customers are required to fill a form that will then submitted to the bank for further processing. It is said that the car will not be available for test drive and it will made be available in fews days to the dealers for displaying in their showrooms.
