The integration project, using Boomi Integration Platform, included interfaces such as SKU Import (with packing specification import), Advanced Shipment Notice Import/Export, Shipment Order Import/Export, Adjustment Export, Stock Hold Export and Stock Reconciliation with NestlÃ© SAP system in Dubai and hosted in Sydney. The interfaces were based on EDI file transfers and direct database connection with complex logic.
The complexity of going-live with 5 distributors was one of the major challenges in a project that required the full automation of document and data transfer between 6 systems without impacting the performance, speed and reliability of the operation. The successful implementation of the project resulted in the elimination of paper and email documents, full data integrity and a high visibility on the purchasing and order fulfillment process.
