NetMovers Expect Surge in Venders as HIPs are Set to be SuspendedChurch, United Kingdom (PressExposure) May 18, 2010 -- The new coalition government are expected to make an announcement this week that Home Information Packs (HIPs) are to be scrapped. In anticipation of the proposed suspension, NetMovers has welcomed the order which could mean a surge in vendors who will save hundreds of pounds. Rick Jones, operations and developments at NetMovers said: “The news that HIPs are to be suspended has had immediate affect on vendors who are now waiting to put their property on the market, simply because if they wait a few weeks they could save the £100s that a HIP cost.” “HIPs have been a blight on the industry and it seems they will have one last negative effect, and that is delaying new instructions. There is no doubt HIPs have deterred would-be vendors from testing the market and the OFT have been vigorous with their insistence upon compliance. Hopefully now there will be focus on finding a useful alternative to HIPs.” About NetMovers
