Mount Pleasant, Texas (PressExposure) January 29, 2010 -- Joseph D. Hayes is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas. He has 5 years experience working with the criminal justice population at an Out-Patient Substance Abuse clinic called Crossroads Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse. This is where he began his studies into working with clients that were angry. He attended many Continuing Education Unit workshops on anger management and finally went to a TACADA workshop and was presented with an instructor certificate of certification of the Anger Management "RETHINK" Program. Then he compiled the bits and pieces of education and combined with theory's of what he perceived as essential and pragmatic in working with the angry client. Mr. Hayes developed an teachable anger management model called cool anger. This model combines educational, awareness, insight, cognitive and real life applications to bring the client into self empowerment to change. "Yes the client chooses to change his behaviors, and thinking on his own desire". Mr. Hayes believes angry reactions are learned behaviors with learned incorporated thoughts that were utilized as coping mechanisms in life development. Now that we have aged and matured these coping skills are no longer useful to the client. The client identifies himself in having self destructive beliefs and experiences and redirects his energy into positive self growth. Mr. Hayes taught this approach for 6 years in Hunt County for both the criminal and civil courts. Mr. Hayes has had tremendous positive responses from his cliental and how they have used the program to get their life back on track.
Now today Mr. Hayes has written "The complete instructional manual on teaching anger management classes using the Cool Anger program with forms & DVDs". With this manual and DVD's an instructor can easily teach anger management for his business development. Mr. Hayes continues to teach anger management and runs a small private practice in Mount Pleasant. He has developed this model for both in-person and online populations and designed the course with the very same objectives and material that has been successful with his cliental. Former County Attorney Kieth Willaford has written an inspiring recommendation for Mr. Hayes' Anger management Program shortly after leaving office. With today's technology, learning to teach Anger Management is more covenant and cost effective as two thoroughly instructional DVD's are included. This program is written for both the novice and professional to use in instructing Anger Management Classes.
Now teaching anger management can be profitable and easily done with Mr. Hayes new book. The book and DVD's are available only at his website http://www.coolanger.com The programs cost is affordable and can easily return $75 cost in just one group. The manual is edited by Joe Parish and is a must have for any novices or experienced anger management teacher. The program was designed to practically teach Anger Management all by itself.
