New Dads to Top the Charts with This Years Love

Liverpool, United Kingdom (PressExposure) March 03, 2012 -- Dedicated Dads find a New-way to Welcome New-borns!

It's usually a rattle or a teddy bear, but, two new fathers from County Durham have found a new 'pop rock' way to celebrate the birth of their children. The two men have formed a new pop rock band called This Years Love and have released their debut pop rock music album in dedication to their newborn babies. The lads said "we'd love to hit number 1 when our children hit one!"

Gavin, (Drummer), from Durham, told us: "Pop rock music has become about fame, money and the rock and roll life style, but we've decided to go against the grain! We're both average family guys who were so excited by becoming fathers that we wanted to do something truly different to mark the occasion."

The album: "Take the Stage" was released for download on 27th February and is available from iTunes, Amazon and various other music sites. The band is dedicating it to their families and the tracks will cost less than £1 each. This Years Love wants everyone to be able to enjoy their pop rock songs and isn't interested in becoming rock music stars.

The pop rock singer/songwriter, Gary, age 25, from County Durham, had this to say: "We are both so happy to be Dads and we just wanted to do something massive to commemorate the arrivals. We want to make a statement that the average family guy can make beautiful pop rock music because we don't need fortune and fame to be inspired."

The album consists of warm, mellow acoustic pop rock songs with the odd funk music and folk rock number thrown in. This Years Love is thrilled with its release and is hopeful that their little ones will like it too!
