The new classes are based on metabolic resistance which makes use of up to the minute advances in exercise science.
Liam Thompson of Northwest Personal Training who has studied exercise science extensively over the last 15 years says "The new classes are put together with the aim of making people burn as much body fat as possible. The high intensity bodyweight exercises mean that your body continues to burn body fat even after you finish training. In many cases this afterburner effect can last for up to 36 hours".
