Hiller started her career with The Herald by writing a story on Elizabeth Taylor, as she was part of a grass roots campaign to nominate Ms. Taylor to receive the Presidential Medal Of Freedom.

Though the Campaign was not a success; the President had already chosen a winner, Hiller using Twitter, and other various networks, along with several other social marketers such as author/entrepreneur Kathy Ireland, actress/author Mariel Hemingway and cartoonist/entrepreneur Rick London launched a Campaign that encouraged fellow Twitterers to email the White House, which they did, and it filled the White House mailbox which made news on the Reuter's Wire service.

Hiller's love column is unique in that it contains an actual article, a famous poem and/or her own Quotes, and then a question/answer part for her readers which has contained subjects that vary from A mother-n-law who has decided to move in with the married children to a young woman deciding between her fiancé and dog. The column is published every Friday In the Herald de Paris "Insider's Section.
