New Point Of Sale Software Lessens Paper Transactions

Auckland, New Zealand (PressExposure) March 16, 2011 -- How would you like to exponentially expand your customer base using point of sale (POS) software while also protecting yourself from shrinkage and fraud?

Triquestra International Limited, distributor of the popular Infinity RMS [http://www.infinitycloudpos.co.nz/], announces its own patented electronic gift cards which can be swiped through a magnetic reader, just like debit or credit cards, payment terminal or a barcode scanner.

Kelly Brown, managing director Triquestra, says the Infinity Cloud Gift Card offers an efficient way to interconnect the head office with the concession stores, branches or franchises using a cost-effective devise.

She explains, "Electronic gift cards have no value until they are purchased and activated. You can display gift cards throughout the store and at the point of sale without the risk of theft. Because value is not stored on the physical card, stolen cards can be tracked and cancelled centrally."

She adds, "There is no need to provide refunds on unredeemed gift card value or to return cash on partial purchases."

The gift card works well with Infinity RMS point of sale software but its flexibility allows it to be installed in stores not supported by standard POS software, because it doesn't rely on a third-party server. There is also no need to purchase additional points of sale hardware on your terminal even if you can increase or cut down the number of lanes where customers can transact using the gift cards.

Ruben Perez, Produce Marker in Figueroa, Cal., is impressed by the service provided by Infinity retail system.

"With Infinity we have happier customers because we can deal with them quickly on checkout and get them on their way much quicker," he says.

Ms. Brown asserts that the multiple-function features of the electronic gift cards enable the retail company to track sales not only between branches and concession stores, but also through mobile devises through the POS online. That means checking transactions through the iPad, cell phone, web browser or any intelligent mobile devises, all of which use POS online software.

"As a cloud retail application, Infinity Cloud Gift Card can be deployed in the field or on the shop floor - not just at the counter," she adds. "Offline mode lets you manually enter gift card transactions even if your server is unavailable.

The point of sale software's full integration in the central office and redundancy of data storage using Infinity RMS' patented backup process will guarantee security, so you know you are basing your decision on reliable information.
