Los Angeles, California (PressExposure) August 14, 2011 -- "Dissatisfied sex lives are an epidemic in marriages and relationships today and the problem is most therapy deals with symptoms rather than the causes. What's needed is a new approach - using 21st century tools - to help couples survive and prosper in today's radically different world."
So says Liam Naden, Founder of the Love Sex Institute, who has released today a new program for helping couples to tackle their intimacy issues in a new and innovative way. Entitled, "More and Better Sex: Five Steps to Nerve-Tingling Passion and Sex in Your Relationship" the program helps couples create a major shift in the way they relate sexually by looking at the underlying mechanism of the way relationships work.
"Most traditional therapy is quite tactical," says Naden. "It focusses on offering solutions to particular scenarios in a relationship. We've found that's of limited value. By dealing with the real reasons for conflict in the relationship and learning to communicate in an effective way, both with oneself and each other, most of the problems can disappear quite quickly. That's when the magic starts to happen."
The other problem is that people have very different expectations of relationships today. Whereas for earlier generations marriage was primarily the vehicle for creating security and for raising children, today there is a much greater emphasis on fulfillment and pleasure. Yet, according to Naden, most people are still trying to create a satisfying relationship without understanding the true dynamics of communication and intimacy.
"In the past, talking through your problems with your spouse or partner might have worked, but it can only get you so far. It certainly is no longer the most effective tool for creating a satisfying relationship, no matter how willing the two individuals might be to make things work."
The program is released as an Workbook in ebook format and comes with six months email coaching support. The company has also created a free video course to introduce the program and explain many of the concepts. It is available on the company website.
