Buyeo, South Chungcheong South Korea (PressExposure) June 23, 2007 -- A new online service for students wishing to apply to Universities outside their home countries has been launched at [http://www.apply-into-university.com]. The concept is a mentoring service, conducted by Dr. Jack Effron BA (Hon)(Econ) (Cincinnati) LLB (British Columbia) PhD (London) Cert Chin Lang (Providence).
Mentoring occurs through the whole process, from choosing Universities to apply to, the application process itself, tutoring for University entrance or international examinations like IB, TOEFL or IELTS, advice on application for student visas and financial aid, and culture-shock prevention advice before getting on the plane.
Each client-applicant will receive an "action plan" of services to be provided. Payment comes after each service (e.g. briefing on different Universities' strengths and merits for the candidate, or e-mail-based tutoring, or advice requested by the student) has been rendered, leaving the client to decide how far to go in the process and when to stop.
"There has not been much available for the potential international student who does not have someone who has been through the process before to call upon", said Dr. Effron. "It can be confusing and daunting if you do not have someone who can help you through it. This takes you through whatever you individually need, step-by-step, to a successful outcome".
