Melbourne, Australia (PressExposure) June 17, 2015 -- International award-winner, Echidna Walkabout Nature Tours, launches a brand new 6 day wildlife adventure to Kakadu and Mary River, Northern Territory, Australia.
Known for their high quality wildlife tours around Australia's South-East, the Top End opens up a whole new world for the wildlife tour operator.
The tour was designed in response to requests from repeat clients for travelling 'Echidna style' to other parts of Australia.
"The Top End is a perfect fit with the South-East" explained Janine Duffy, Echidna Walkabout. "The wildlife is totally different, but the feeling we strive for on all our trips: an immersion in wildness without pretension, is all there. As a bonus the best time to travel up north is August-September, which is still cool in the south."
Past client Cathja Maas from the Netherlands wrote: "My trips with Echidna showed me the magic of being alive, of being part of it all. Ever since I am a happier person - more aware of my environment, more belonging. I want to come back to Australia and see more of it and I prefer to do it with you."
The tour visits the vast woodlands and floodplains of Kakadu National Park, with walks to see ancient Aboriginal Rock Art and magnificent bird-filled billabongs. Later the tour travels to the wild Mary River, the home of the highest concentration of very large saltwater crocodiles in the world, also known for its birdlife and monsoon rainforests. Here guests experience some of the cattle-ranching history of the Top End at Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge.
The tour runs on select dates through August and September each year and is available for agents to book for FIT clients.
