Dallas, Texas (PressExposure) August 26, 2013 -- NextEra Energy Services New Hampshire, LLC, a provider of electricity services to residential customers in New Hampshire, today announced they are the presenting sponsor of the 2013 Hampton Beach Seafood Festival, the state's largest seaside festival, to be held September 6-8.
The Hampton Beach Seafood Festival is a community celebration of the New Hampshire Seacoast. Now in its 24th year, the festival features more than 60 top local restaurants serving an abundance of seafood delicacies, 80 arts and crafts vendors promoting locally made products and hundreds of Ocean Boulevard merchants offering end-of-the season sidewalk sales. Festivities also include continuous musical entertainment on two stages, amusement rides, games for children, a fireworks display and a skydiving demonstration.
"As a new local provider of electricity services to New Hampshire residents, we want to join with the community in this fun-filled, end-of-summer celebration of the Seacoast," said Brian Landrum, president, NextEra Energy Services. "We're here to support this tremendous event that adds so much to the local economy while providing a festive weekend event for families to enjoy."
Festival patrons are encouraged to stop by the NextEra Energy Services display area and learn more about opportunities to choose low cost, renewable energy. NextEra Energy Services will be giving away branded tote bags, koozies and bubble kits, while supplies last.
On June 11, NextEra Energy Services introduced electricity services to residential customers in the Public Service New Hampshire (PSNH) service territory, at a 25 percent savings off the standard rate. The company has provided electricity services to commercial customers in New Hampshire since 2010. NextEra Energy Services is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, the largest generator of renewable energy from the wind and sun in North America.
