Next Generation of Global Advertisers Meets The Miller Group

Los Angeles, CA (PressExposure) March 30, 2011 -- The Miller Group conducted an orientation for students hailing from Mexico's Tecnológico de Monterrey on Friday, March 18, 2011.

University faculty asked The Miller Group, an established digital agency in Southern California with offices in Dallas and New York, to host the aspiring marketing and communications students at their Los Angeles headquarters. In addition to visiting Coca-Cola and Universal Studios corporate offices, the students spent an afternoon with The Miller Group to deepen their understanding of the advertising industry.

Through its international internship program, The Miller Group has been successful in imparting to students a global understanding of the industry - a valuable asset to today's emerging leaders. The students were particularly interested in the skills required to land one of the agency's competitive internships, which draw on a pool of applicants from Europe to East Asia.

"A marketing internship abroad is a great opportunity to learn valuable skills and bring some fresh ideas to the agency," explained Miller Group marketing intern Sebastian Ulbricht, a business student at Germany's ESB Business School. "In a global job market, international experience is a key asset to any young professional looking to succeed in his or her chosen field - particularly advertising."
