Avon, MA (PressExposure) March 08, 2012 -- NexxtShow recently outlined their configurable system division, NexxtStep, and Martin will be supporting the clients and managing their exhibit projects. NexxtStep exhibits are constructed of modular aluminum framing with various substrates and hardware for a clean, contemporary, tailored look to any booth.
Martin majored in Sports/Entertainment/Event Management at Johnson and Wales University, Providence Campus with a concentration in Sales, Meeting and Event Management. Her curriculum included Tradeshow/Exhibition Management instructed by industry prodigy Christine Perakslis, EdD. She also studied abroad in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia to study Dynamics of Tourism and International Event Management.
While completing her internship at NexxtShow, Martin was hired, not only due to her education and experience, but her novel thinking and deep connection with customers. She grew up in a family business where she enjoyed working with clients to produce memorable experiences. Compassion and understanding of customer needs, beyond the expected, is fundamental for her.
"I have enjoyed working for NexxtShow since the moment I walked through the door as an intern," states Martin. "Everyone at NexxtShow works so well as a team and I love the workplace culture - I feel as if I've been adopted into a supportive and loving family. I'm learning more than I can imagine from all the talent built inside these walls, and I am super excited to move forward with the company!"
"NexxtShow simply provides the tools, resources and knowledge and the Nexxters (NexxtShow employees) apply their passion and intensity to drive forward and succeed customer expectations. Lauren possesses remarkable enthusiasm, business skills and a genuine personality. She brings new insight into the company and this is where the Nexxt big ideas will be found. We are thrilled for Lauren and her NexxtStep achievements ahead." - Dave Connor, Chief Customer Officer, NexxtShow.
