It is an ideal tool for both telecommunication and data communication applications such as 10 Gb/s SONET/SDH, Fiber Channel, Gigabit Ethernet, 10Gb Ethernet and other applications such as DWDM links or MMF applications.
This fully Nortel compatible 1000Base-SX transceiver, model AA1419013, operates at a wave length of 850nm and has a transmission distance of up to 500m on 50/62.5μm MMF. It features physical network connectivity to media converters, distance extenders, cross-connections, Ethernet switches and routing equipment. This transceiver offers a standard SFP interface and a dual LC/PC connector for network connection. In additional, it also features digital diagnostic functions and low power dissipation.
