Pleasanton, California (PressExposure) February 13, 2012 -- Over the past year, the education technology world has seen many great new and innovative products. One such product, released in January of this year, is the Integrated Education System (IES) known as Novachi 2.0. Novachi 2.0, initially introduced at the 2012 Florida Education Technology Conference (FETC), was well received by educators from all over the country. Today, Novachi announces a new addition to Novachi 2.0, the Novachi Applications Store.
The Novachi Apps Store is not a stand alone product, but an enhancement to the already powerful set of features provided by Novachi 2.0. The app store provides a mechanism for which educators can easily manage, activate, and purchase a variety of data systems, curriculum content, and educational tools. These apps run seamlessly within the Novachi 2.0 IES framework, which includes single sign-on (SSO) and the first-ever COPPA compliant legal framework for children online privacy.
Novachi Apps Store provides administrators a safe secure portal from which to select, integrate, and rollout the system for their school. Novachi 2.0 enables administrators to build a custom integrated education system for their school with greater data synchronicity than was previously available to the general public.
Most schools and organizations, when considering education technology acquisitions, have relied on the cumbersome RFP procurement process which sometimes can take months, or even years, to vet and negotiate a purchase. Novachi Apps Store provides a one-stop solution to review, select, and access all your cloud-based educational data.
Education Technology (EdTech) providers can now participate on Novachi Apps Store by contacting Novachi Support. Novachi IES can seamlessly connect systems running on any technology stack, privately managed by the district or EdTech provider, or securely managed within Novachi's private cloud.
"Our goal has never been to make money off of schools," said a Novachi representative "Instead, we wish to provide schools with the tools and resources they need as cost-effectively as possible, and to provide the means to access and execute those tools in a timely and pain-free manner."
