Doha, Qatar (PressExposure) August 18, 2014 -- Anton Punt, Lead Business Analyst - Business Development at ORYX GTL (Qatar) has joined the speaker panel for the 4th Annual Global Refining Technology Forum to be held from 15 - 17 September 2014 at the Grand Hyatt Doha in Qatar. Punt will present on the latest developments in gas to liquid (GTL) technology with focus on availability and profitability improvement. Punt will provide information about the background of ORYX GTL, its various operations and processes over the years, performance of its products and future endeavors. With numerous industrial applications, including successful applications as jet fuel, GTL is witnessing a lot of global developments. Punt currently holds the position of Lead Business Analyst in the Business Development Department, supporting the growth and diversification drive in ORYX GTL. Previously associated with SASOL, Punt has vast amount of experience in the oil and gas industry and has worked on various projects in different capacities.
Organizations like Chevron (USA), ORYX GTL (Qatar), ENI Refining & Marketing (Italy), MOL Group SCM (Hungary), Sinopec (Germany) SASOL (South Africa), Borouge (UAE), Petro Rabigh (Saudi Arabia), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (India) and National Oil Company (Libya) will also be presenting also at the forum. Through various case studies, presentations and panel discussions the forum will look at topics like sustainable profit improvement and cost minimization opportunities, catalysts deactivation trend and its impact on residue upgrading processes, heavy oil characteristics and processing to produce middle distillates, leveraging automation to drive process efficiencies, unlocking future roles of FCC and hydroprocessing units in modern refineries, novel HSFCC process for propylene maximization and environmental protection and effective utilization of flare gas.
