Here is an excerpt from the new Liquid Force Wakeboards information webpage:
"The 2009 series of Liquid Force wakeboards provide different boards for men as well as women. One of the best wakeboard of the 2009 range is the 2009 Shane model for men. You could surf all day one this wakeboard without any problems whatsoever. This excellent quality wakeboard is made to last and incorporates the latest technologies. Performing stunts and tricks that involve taking off the surface of the wake put a lot of strain on the wakeboard. The board must be light enough to help the individual to take off without any difficulty, but should be strong enough to bear the impact when the individual lands on the wake again.
That is the reason why Liquid Force wakeboards use the Double to Triple Concave Hull. The developers use a D-I-S-C hull through the center and it deepens through the underfoot and then turns out into a triple hull as it approaches the tail. DISC ensures that the board bears the impact and also ensures that you do not lose lots of speed upon re-impact. The double hull is placed right under your feet which ensure that there is no discomfort when performing wakeboarding and wakeboarding tricks."
