Raleigh, NC (PressExposure) May 28, 2009 -- New Resource Offerings Aid Professionals
With a faltering economy and unemployment hitting businesses and professionals throughout the community, One Source of NC, LLC (www.onesource-nc.com), a firm that specializes in the recruitment of architecture, engineering and design talent, announces the addition of three new services. Reaching beyond the firm's recruitment specialty, the services are available to all professionals seeking to fine-tune a career search; make a career change; or improve job security.
"People are in search of answers and options during these unique economic times," says Dana Dorroh, managing partner of One Source of NC, LLC. "Any advantage we can give to area professionals will be beneficial as we all plan for economic recovery."
The three professional services are Power Programs, One-on-One Business Coaching, and a Business Center. One Source's Power Programs are 90-minute breakfast or lunch seminars that include: ⢠Resume Work Out - focusing on what a resume says about a person and ways to improve content ⢠Navigating Professional Change - a discussion of offensive and defensive strategies to incorporate during times of transition ⢠Starting Your Own Business - three individual sessions highlighting steps to take when thinking of opening a business o Soul Searching - what to think about before jumping into your own business o Testing the Waters - learning the basics to get a business off the ground o Ready for Prime Time - introducing your business to the community and productive ways to grow what you have started, while staying focused on generating revenue
The seminars are $25. June seminar dates are the 23 through the 25.
One Source's Business Center provides professionals with a quiet environment to conduct business and job search activity. The center offers computers, internet access, printing, faxing, scanning and notary services at competitive prices.
"Often people out of work find they are more productive and effective if they dress for business, leave their home and go into a professional office environment to search and respond to job openings," adds Dorroh. "Our facility allows them to conduct their search and communicate with potential future employers during the business day-away from their home."
One Source's One-on-One Business Coaching is available in 30-minute and 60-minute sessions and offers coaching and mentoring on job searching, interviewing, improving your team and leadership skills, as well as starting your own business.
"We're hearing from so many professionals who are in transition," says Dorroh. "We cannot find jobs immediately for everyone who contacts us, but we want to do everything we can to help keep these professionals connected, productive, and positive as they seek a new job."
