Online Eco-Art Gallery Announces "Search by Trash"

Sound Beach, NY (PressExposure) December 30, 2008 -- This is a very different kind of art gallery - with a very different goal in mind. earths-journey.com is an online art gallery dedicated to the eco-artist and crafter, meaning every item on their site has been created by talented artisans who work with recycled, found, upcycled and environmentally friendly materials to create their work.

In keeping with the recycled theme, Tina Santillo, earths-journey.com Owner earths-journey.com has now launched their search section where the client or consumer can now search for handmade, beautifully crafted artwork by the trash it comes from.

"We wanted to be different, and although our goal is to create art from trash, it wasn't enough that these talented artists do that. We wanted to involve the consumer as well, and by giving them an opportunity to search trash items to find art, we feel this will make people more aware of how we create "recycled beauty". Some of our categories include, garbage/trash, beach glass, recycled metals, and it's amazing to see what can be created from things we tend to throw away each day."

Earths-journey.com only launched September 1st, 2008 and has already made a name for themselves in the green community. You can still search for items through the traditional way, by the medium the artist uses, however it is more fun and unique to search through garbage to find treasures!
