Louisville, KY (PressExposure) September 28, 2011 -- Online Marketing Pros, providers of hands-on educational classes in online and social media marketing tactics, will celebrate the first anniversary of business operations in Louisville and Southern Indiana on October 18th. To mark the occasion, owners Charlene Burke and Sheryl Connelly invite the professional community to join them for an evening of networking.
Online Marketing Pros started as a joint venture in October of 2010 when Burke and Connelly noticed an increasing trend of self-proclaimed internet marketing gurus taking advantage of start-up, emerging, and fiscally disadvantaged entrepreneurs.
The pair quickly identified a tremendous lack of usable knowledge among the business community in online and social media marketing tactics to be the major contributor to this trend. Burke and Connelly allowed their passions of informing and teaching to cultivate a business concept. The two entrepreneurs joined forces officially earlier this month as Online Marketing Pros, LLC, but have been providing hands-on educational programs at an affordable cost, thus bridging the knowledge gap and empowering business owners to make informed decisions about their digital marketing options.
The one year anniversary celebration is free and open to the business community. Activities include a "Grand Reveal" of 2012 business plans for Online Marketing Pros, open networking session, door prize giveaways, and refreshments provided by The Black Italian, a unique Home-style Italian food service start-up.
Keynote speaker Nick Carter, President and Founder of Address Two, will discuss his best-selling book, "Unfunded, From Bootstrap To Blue Chip" and how to start a business without Round-A Capital.
"We are very excited to not only celebrate our first year in business, but to be in a position to offer such a valuable professional networking opportunity to the Louisville and Southern Indiana business community," stated Connelly. "We just hope the recent Sherman Minton bridge closure won't prevent our colleagues from Southern Indiana from attending."
The event will be held at the Independent Electrical Contractors Association Building, 1810 Plantside Dr, Louisville, KY, 40299. Doors open at 5:30pm. Free Parking is available on-site. Preregistration is required to attend.
