It displays constellation diagrams and optical pictures and functions as an optical power tester and EVM and provides DVB measurement. This dual-wavelength meter operating at 1310nm and 1550nm is ideally suited for the HFC networks. It also conducts digital signal tests on digital signal power, power/Hz and QPSK signal power.

GAO Instruments' digital optical electric signal level meter, model A0640001, includes a video input port and an audio input port. It measures both forward directional signals and reverse transmission signals. The level meter supports quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) and a dynamic power range from - 30dBm to 20dBm. 16 QAM, 32 QAM, 64 QAM, 128 QAM and 256 QAM are available for selection. This dual-wavelength signal level meter has a TFT 5'' LCD screen on which clearly displays analog channel analysis level, V/A, C/N, TILT, spectrum, TV pictures and measurement results.
