It is a new generation of high performance optical network test meter using the latest laser exploration and processing technology. This optical power meter is able to distinguish the type of fiber,accurately test fiber loss, check the fiber continuity and evaluate the transmission quality of a fiber chain using the laser source. It is widely used in the testing of LANs, wide-area networks (WANs), metropolitan networks and CATV or long-distance fiber networks.

The portable optical power meter, model 800, tests linearity and non-linearity and displays both direct and relative optical power tests. It tests optical power within the wavelength ranges of 800nm to1600nm in ?W, dB and dBm. This optical power meter features a storage capacity of 100 groups, a low power indication function and supports auto shut off which kicks after ten minutes of inactivity. FC,ST and SC adapters are available. It works continuously for 28 hours with a 9V NI-MH rechargeable battery and has a high resolution LCD screen.
