Calgary, Canada (PressExposure) January 16, 2015 -- Outsource Blog Content - formerly a small business providing other businesses with blogging and content services - recently re-launched as a blog offering tips on outsourcing, blogging, SEO and writing.
In June 2014, the business took a backseat in the lives of the founders, who needed to take some time out to streamline their lives and take day jobs to make their day-to-day lives more sustainable.
Then new troubles started to surface. In the midst of getting their lives in order, Outsource Blog Content's relationship with their web host was also becoming strained due to expensive rates and a lack of customer service. Financial problems in tow, the founders began to seek for alternatives.
Having moved to a new hosting company in October 2014, the founders asked themselves whether or not they wanted to re-launch the site at all. Already involved in other pursuits and businesses, they pondered if it was wise to go down that road again.
That's when the idea of building a blog about blogging began to surface.
They had already built up a bit of a content archive between the months of February and May in 2014 when they were still actively promoting their business, and when they began to think about the value that this content could still offer the world, they decided to pivot and take the project in a new direction.
The blog is already starting to find its footing since the official re-launch in November 2014. Other bloggers and business owners have begun seeking out the unique expertise that Outsource Blog Content brings to the table.
Initially focused on everything to do with blogging, building an editorial calendar, content marketing and search engine optimization, their blog has expanded to include topics like outsourcing, marketing and writing.
They even conducted a content outsourcing experiment involving the popular freelancer site, Fiverr, in which they outsourced the writing of a content piece, and documented what happened from start to finish.
Judging by recent additions to their blog, there are more unique and interesting content experiments and data-rich marketing experiments to come in the future.
Outsource Blog Content has also begun accepting contributions from third parties who are knowledgeable in blogging, marketing, outsourcing and search engine optimization. Bloggers or writers looking for cross-promotion opportunities should take note.
Settled in their new direction, Outsource Blog Content intends to add value to the world of outsourcing and blogging. They are looking to make it a place where entrepreneurs, marketers and businesses alike can come to learn about the changing world of content.
