Karon Gibson is the coauthor of NURSES ON OUR OWN, published by IUniverse, St. Martin's Press and Avon and optioned as a TV movie. She created the first free standing Independent Nursing Station Office for the public in l973 and went on win awards in the Nursing and Business arenas. She has been a newspaper columnist and a TV producer for the past 27 years as well as a successful businesswoman. She is cocreator of Street Savvy Safety Tips-A CPR for Crime with her husband a Chicago police detective and decoy on how to avoid becoming the target of crime.
