Scottsdale, Arizona (PressExposure) January 29, 2007 -- A survey last year by the Washington-based Pet Research Center found that 85 percent of pet owners call their dog's members of the family, as do 78 percent of those with cats. It also stated that 80 percent of owners buy holiday and birthday gifts for pets. Lasky states, "I wanted to combine the two things I have passion for, animals and interior design. It has been wonderful to see the increase in pet ownership among people who feel as I do; pets are our four-legged family members." Lasky is excited to provide a much needed solution to the growing needs of pet owners in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Lasky adds, "With the proper up front work and smart choices, pets and good design can go "hand in paw".
Whether someone already owns or is planning to own a pet, Pawprint Design Services can help with every aspect of the design process. According to Lasky, "If the proper steps are taken, your home can look and feel just the way you want it to; welcoming, comfortable, and beautiful, creating a home that reflects your personal sense of style for all household members furry and non-furry, with 2 legs or with 4."
All projects begin with an initial consultation at the client's home. The initial consultation runs about 1½ hours. During this time, Lasky walks through the home and discusses goals and visions with the client, and determines the scope of the job. After the initial consultation, she then develops a customized proposal that outlines what is needed to fulfill the design goals, and helps clients prioritize and budget appropriately. A client profile is then left with the client to fill out. The client profile is one of the tools Pawprint Design Services uses to help understand the client's unique desired outcome. Some people would like to invite their 4 legged family members on the sofa but are afraid of damage; others want to spend less time vacuuming up pet hair, either way Pawprint Design Services has a solution that will work with any style house and any 4 legged family member.
