Boston, MA (PressExposure) January 14, 2011 -- Ed Hennessy - PMG's CEO - has indicated that his firm has assisted two early-stage, technology firms to launch target programs to gain access and build opportunity base in the Defense & Mil market.
Heartwood - a fast-paced, high growth provider of 3-D Immersive, Simulation Platforms targeted at mission-critical, repair and maintenance training applications commissioned PMG to develop an integrated, Marketing Program with the centerpiece highlighting the Raytheon Patriot Missile Radar Project in both high-impact, collateral and through an instructive iPad training app.
Heartwood's advanced technology transitions training applications from video format, manuals and paper tests to complete, PC-based, virtual training programs, which are redefining learning standards.
Neil Wadhawan, Heartwood's Co-Founder indicated that "With PMG's assistance, we are reinforcing our dedication to the Defense & Military and Homeland Security Target segments and advancing our business."
Silvus Technologies - an innovative, specialist in MIMO Multi-Antenna Radio Platforms was spawned through early-development projects with DARPA, however their appetite was to extend capabilities to the C4ISR target segment and build their commercial business.
The program provided by PMG focused on ground-based, platforms and programs (urban warfare, ship-to-shore communications & real-time, video surveillance) and for perimeter/border control to support the Homeland Security initiative.
Babak Daneshrad, Silvus's founder and CEO indicated that "The PMG program opened doors of opportunity that Silvus could not duplicate on its own."
Although Heartwood and Silvus concentrate on different technology areas and applications, there were common elements in their marketing and business needs.
Their programs demanded quick access to Defense Contractors/Integrators (TOP 60 cross-division), focus on Vertical Industry/Target Segments where each player was relatively new to the segment (not a recognized brand), emphasized a new product launch (C2ACT platform for Heartwood & SC2000 for Silvus), built opportunity base with selected, Target Accounts, Program Offices & Agencies, developed a Channel Partner Network and reinforced the program with active, Media coverage in Industry-noted, publications.
Hennessy commented" It is clear that Heartwood and Silvus are blazing new trails and destined to make their mark in the Defense & Military Market."
