Alpharetta, GA (PressExposure) September 07, 2006 -- September 7, 2006 -- For the third consecutive year, XO Create! won the national American Graphic Design Awards. The team is proud to be honored in the 2006 awards for their entries in the packaging design and collateral design categories.
This year two XO Create! design entries for client Americaâs Kitchen (http://www.americaskitchen.com) were commended. The first award honored the packaging design for the new line of dips and sauces that Americaâs Kitchen is releasing to grocery outlets nationwide. The overall objective for the Americaâs Kitchen brand was to project a premium feel that best represented the restaurant-style food offerings. Through clean layout, jeweled color schemes, elegant typefaces and stunning photography, Americaâs Kitchen packages not only look high end but stand apart from other packages on the shelf.
The second award, for collateral design, went to the Americaâs Kitchen promotional postcards. The postcards resemble the packaging campaign and maintain the premium feel.
Now in its 27th year, the American Graphic Design Awards, sponsored by Graphic Design:USA, is among the most prestigious and competitive awards contests in the industry, as only ten percent of entries received honors this year. The winning entries will be published in the 2006 annual out in December in both soft and hardcover editions.
