Glasgow, United Kingdom (PressExposure) April 11, 2012 -- Peak Scientific announced plans this week to expand their Head Offices in Inchinnan during a ground breaking ceremony at the site. The plans for extension, which have been in discussion for nearly two years, were accelerated this year in response to increased demand and the need to scale-up the facility's production capabilities.
The blueprints for the new development include an additional level of offices and, crucially, upgrading the production facilities to create a streamlined, state of the art facility. The new facility is expected to double the production output of the gas generator manufacturer as well as increasing their demand for new staff.
During the ground breaking ceremony at the Inchinnan headquarters, Managing Director of Peak Scientific, Robin MacGeachy commented
"It is with great pride that we embark on the new extension to the Peak facility. This will allow us to double our capacity in manufacturing and personnel over the coming years. The new building will also include increased training facilities, Research and Development and Service support. We should be fully operational by the end of the year."
Peak Scientific have been manufacturing gas generators at their site in Inchinnan, near Glasgow, Scotland, for fifteen years. Originally setting out to design out the flaws in the first wave of new, worktop gas generators, they gained a reputation for innovative and reliable gas generators. During that period their operation has rapidly expanded, establishing satellite sales and servicing offices in 9 different countries around the globe, from Australia to North America. Their distribution reach and reputation have led to rapidly increasing demand for their range of products which includes Zero Air, Hydrogen and Nitrogen gas generators. The new development at their Head Offices is expected to help the company service existing contracts more efficiently and prepare them to meet future projected demands from new and existing clients.
