PebbleArt Expands Line of Sandstone Coasters

Long Beach, NY (PressExposure) June 02, 2009 -- In a bid to further dominate the stone home décor market PebbleArt has recently expanded their line of natural sandstone coasters. The move nearly doubles the number of absorbent protective accessories being offered by the retailer, and also sets them as one of the largest forces in the retail coaster market.

PebbleArt was one of the first companies to start producing sandstone coasters back in 2003, when they introduced a line which was manufactured from a variety of imported Indian materials. Sandstone was found to be particularly efficient as its porous nature allowed the stone to soak up the moisture from a sweaty glass, holding it within the stone until it could be evaporated away.

The coasters became very popular almost overnight, with Rainbow and Panther sandstone being the most popular colors. As new materials became available the company expanded their offerings with stones such as Ruby Red, and Moondyne becoming fixtures in PebbleArt’s product lineup.

In late 2006 the manufacturing company began adding products to their retail store which were produced by third party developers. Most of these were Indian, Chinese, or Pakistani based products which were imported to the United States in container loads. As their relationship with other companies expanded, PebbleArt also began to team up with their formal rivals; other American based stone product manufacturers.

This recent move to expand their sandstone coaster offerings was made possible through these connections with third party companies. This has allowed them to consistently grow their retail offerings, while still developing in house based designs. The result of this union is that PebbleArt, through their retail outlet at http://PebbleZ.com has become the nation’s largest supplier of natural stone home products.
