Houston, Texas (PressExposure) June 04, 2009 -- Pennebaker Fifth Ring, the award-winning integrated corporate communications firm, had a celebratory evening at the 2009 American Marketing Association's Crystal Awards, held at the Intercontinental Houston Hotel on Friday, May 29, 2009.
The competition was comprised of entrants from companies across Texas, with a wide range of categories that were represented, Pennebaker Fifth Ring walked away with 10 finalists and 2 Crystal Awards. The Crystal Awards were both in the website category, for business-to-consumer and for business-to-business.
Jeffrey McKay, the firm's Creative Director, was very pleased with the results. "It's wonderful to see that others recognize everything that goes into our work. Seamless design is important, but the strategy that goes behind it is even more essential."
Pennebaker Fifth Ring was recognized for work in newspaper, magazine, and television advertising, websites (business-to-business, business-to-consumer, and non-profit), direct mail, multimedia animation, product/service brochures, and logos.
Among the 10 finalists, Pennebaker Fifth Ring represented Houston Grand Opera, Inventure, Metro Marketing and Sales, Presenture, Psychological Software Solutions, The Kinkaid School, United Way of Greater Houston. The two Crystal Awards were awarded to Pennebaker Fifth Ring's work for Metro Marketing and Sales' The Sage' website and for Inventure's website.
