Manila, Philippines (PressExposure) August 14, 2009 -- The Pinoy X-Philes, a Filipino fan group of The X-Files, is urging Filipino fans across the globe to be a part of the X-Files 3 Campaign. Spearheaded by X-Files News, a US-based X-Files fan site recognized and authorized by Fox Network, the worldwide campaign calls for X-Files fans from around the world to convince Fox Network to green light a third X-Files feature film.
Officially called Believe in the Future, the campaign urges participants to send postcards with messages asking Fox Network to make a third X-Files movie. The Pinoy X-Philes is at the forefront of this campaign and acting as one of the regional liaisons. As a regional liaison, the Pinoy X-Philes is responsible for collecting postcards sent by Filipino fans. Upon collection, these postcards will be forwarded to the headquarters of X-Files News, which in turn will hand deliver them to the offices of Fox Network at a given date.
Filipino fans interested to join the campaign are requested to send in their postcards â personalized or not â before October 15, 2009 to give the Pinoy X-Philes time to forward the collected postcards to X-Files News. The postcards may be addressed to the local headquarters of the Pinoy X-Philes or directly to X-Files News.

The X-Files was a phenomenal TV series in the â90s that ran for nine seasons and ended in 2002. The hit show featured two FBI agents investigating unsolved and unexplainable cases delving on paranormal phenomena. It spawned two movies â The X-Files: Fight the Future released in 1998, and The X-Files: I Want to Believe released in 2008.
