Padua, Italia (PressExposure) December 19, 2011 -- The year that is ending has been notably meaningful for Plastotecnica, an Italian company specialized in the production of shrink and stretch film that this year has celebrated its 35 years of activity.
The Plastotecnica group, indeed, was founded in 1976, and in its 35-year history it has gathered experience and professionalism to become one of the European leading companies in the field of plastics manufacturing. Nowadays Plastotecnica has two different plants in Bagnoli di Sopra and Pernumia, both in the province of Padua, and produces linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) films, stretch film, shrink film, industrial sacks and stretch hoods. With a 30,000 sq m of indoor floor space, a total production capacity of 150,000 tons and 220 million euro in sales, the plants of Plastotecnica show to have the right numbers to compete with the other European leading companies of the sector. Moreover, in addition to the plants in Padua, the company also has a storage facility for the distribution of the company's products in San Giuliano Milanese.
To the most important goals achieved by the company in its first 35 years of activity certainly belongs the achievement of the ISO 9001:2008 accreditation, a significant evidence of the quality, professionalism and reliability of the company. Another accreditation Plastotecnica is notably proud of is the ISO 14001:2004 certification of their Environmental Management System, which is a proof of the attention paid by the company to the environmental issue and to the necessity of reducing the company's impact on the environment.
This year Plastotecnica has "celebrated" its 35th birthday taking part in an important and influential trade show, Interpack, which was held in Düsseldorf from the 12th to the 18th of May. This trade show gave Plastotecnica the chance to appear as part of the élite of the professionals in the sector of packaging.
Now that this important year in which Plastotecnica has celebrated its 35th birthday is coming to an end, the company is getting ready for a new cycle of challenges and successes.
