Potty Tots Gives Back To Childrens' Charities

Temecula, CA (PressExposure) May 27, 2009 -- Like most young tots today, The POTTY TOTS have been raised to give back to the community. With that in mind, Jill Leech, President and Creator of the Potty Tots Potty Training Program was pleased to announce that her new potty training company, Potty Tots, had the privilege to donate potty training kits for two very important children’s charities this month. An adorable group of ten ethnically diverse and multi talented preschoolers, the Potty Tots are the signature characters for a new, child-centered, potty training resource, and make their “debut” in the company’s potty training DVD.

The Potty Tots Potty Training Program for Boys and Girls were donated to raise funds for Renee and Scott Baio’s 1st Annual Celebrity Yard Sale for the Bailey Baio Angel Foundation, whose mission is “to raise awareness on the importance of expanded newborn screening and its availability and necessity for every newborn. Through this testing, when a child is diagnosed with a disorder, steps can be taken immediately to mitigate the problems that go along with these diseases; To create, promote and facilitate legislation which will mandate this expanded newborn screening for all fifty states; and To raise funds through promotional activities and sales to support children and families affected with GA1 and other OA’s (organic acidemia metabolic disorders)”. The first CELEBRITY BABY YARD SALE will be held Saturday, May 30, 2009 from 8am - 4pm at the Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City, CA.

Potty Tots also supports the Minnesota Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (MOFAS). The mission of MOFAS is to eliminate birth defects caused by alcohol consumption during pregnancy and to improve the quality of life for those individuals and families affected with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorders. Potty Tots is proud to support this effort by donating potty training kits at a number of events to be held around the state called Pregnant Pause. The purpose of these events is to educate pregnant mothers about the dangers of consuming alcohol while pregnant and raise funds for children with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.

Jill Leech stated, “We feel so privileged to be able to give back to these worthwhile children’s charities whose focus are healthy babies and we are proud to support these wonderful organizations who work hard everyday to educate parents on these issues and help those families in need.” For more information on these events or how you can help with these charities, go to :
