Vernon, British Columbia Canada (PressExposure) May 04, 2012 -- CyberMatrix Corporation has released version 10 of Project Clock, an easy to use project time recording and time billing program for Windows. Project Clock 10 contains several important improvements. The most significant change in version 10 is the new billing module that provides a more convenient way to bill clients for time and expenses. Full Unicode support was added to allow translations of all multi-byte languages such as Chinese, Japanese and Russian. In addition, a new enterprise edition of Project Clock that can connect to virtually any database server is now available.
Project Clock is used by consultants, lawyers, engineers, contractors, project managers or anyone else who must accurately record the time spent on different projects or tasks.
Project Clock has several different editions to accommodate the needs of various customer types. Project Clock comes in Standard, Pro, Client/Server, Enterprise and Web editions. The Standard, Pro, Client/Server and Enterprise editions have a simple intuitive graphical interface. While the Pro edition can be used with multiple users over a network, the Client/Server and Enterprise editions are better suited for large numbers of users. Only the Enterprise edition can be scaled up to handle massive user loads. Project Clock Enterprise integrates with virtually any large database server, including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and PostgresQL. The Client/Server, Enterprise and Web editions can be used with multiple users accessing project time data over the company intranet or even the Internet. Project Clock Web allows time entry using any web browser on virtually any operating system, not just Windows. Project Clock CE runs on Windows Mobile hand-held devices.
Project Clock runs on Windows XP, 2003 server, Vista, 2008 Server and Windows 7. System requirements: 512 MB RAM and 30 MB hard disk space. Project Clock Client/Server and Project Clock Web work best with a dedicated XP, 2003 server, Vista, 2008 Server or Windows 7 server with 1 GB RAM and power backup to host the Project Clock server application. Project Clock Web clients require only a web browser. Project Clock CE requires a device running Windows Mobile.
Project Clock Standard and Web costs $35 (US) for a single-user license, Project Clock Pro costs $55 (US) for a single-user license, Project Clock C/S and Enterprise costs $75 (US) for a single license. Project Clock CE costs $20 for a single license. Multi-user and site licenses are available. Time-limited trial versions can be downloaded free of charge from cybermatrix.com.
