Mumbai, Maharastra India (PressExposure) September 13, 2011 -- Italian expert Chef Vincenzo di Tuoro invites guests to journey across the small towns of Italy for an afternoon fiesta, with his newly introduced 'Pronto! Lunches' at Vetro, the Italian restaurant at The Oberoi, hotel in Mumbai.
Guest can savour a selection of regional specialties including antipasti, hearty soups, freshly made pastas, grills and desserts, within 45 minutes, either with the two or three-course 'Pronto' lunch.
Chef Enzo and his team craft lunch menus that begin with a selection of antipasti including freshly tossed salads, gourmet cheeses; and a variety of cold cuts ; followed by a warm bowl of Minestrone; Porcini mushroom soup; Borlotti bean soup; or the 'soup of the day'. The second piatti presents a selection of home-made pastas such as Spinach, lemon and ricotta ravioli with tomato sauce Ballerine pasta with mushroom sauce and sundried tomato pesto, Rigotani Carbonara; and Chicken stew with porcini mushroom, on Tuscan tomato bread, red wine sauce. Dolce offers Tiramisu Fresh fruit or the 'tart of the day'to choose from.
Showcasing an array of new flavors every afternoon, Vetro presents the two course lunch at Rs. 1350, and the three course lunch at Rs. 1650, all inclusive, from 12.30 p.m.to 2.30 p.m. every day.
