Los Angeles, CA (PressExposure) July 07, 2007 -- You won't find Bill Blass frilly attire nor Calvin Klein citrus scents at Prozacwear.com. The brainstorm of Rick London, who founded the award-winning Londons Times Cartoons web site in 1997 says he decided to launch the Prozacwear because if pharmaceuticals can launch designer drugs, why can't I launch designer drug-wear?â He makes a good point.
London adds, âI mean think about it. Pop a Prozac and feel good. Wear a funny Prozacwear tee, sweat, or other garment and make someone else feel good.â It's a win-win situation.
London adds, âNeedless to say we are not associated with Pfizer in any way (nor do I think they want us hanging aroundâ, he laughs. But my feeling is they may just have a sense of humor about it all; I mean after all when Prozac hit the market in the 1980's it was all hush-hush as to whom was taking it; now it is one of the first topics that often comes up at social events. Our clothes and other items (such as totes, mousepads, cutting boards, aprons, etc.) are simply a reflection of our changing pop culture.â
London says, âWe feature tops for men, women, and children in all sorts of styles from jerseys to rib tees, to sweats to hoodies.
London says, âFor now, we are only including cartoon image merchandise that contain Prozac-related cartoon images. We plan to expand shortly into all areas of psychiatry, therapy, etc. with cartoons regarding those topics as well as part of the Prozacwear line of fine merchandise at [http://www.prozacwear.com]
