Amado, AZ (PressExposure) October 04, 2007 -- Jan McCracken, published author of over 40 books, has begun work on her most controversial project to date. "Lawless Borders reveals untold truths of the most porous section of todayâs US/Mexico Border in southeastern Arizona," said McCracken.
The idea for Lawless Borders came from McCracken's own heart-breaking and even terrifying experiences living in the âborder war zone.â The book will include her stories, but she wants Lawless Borders to provide more than one perspective. It will be filled with real life stories and accounts from Americans, as well as from those that are crossing the border in search of the All American Dream.
âThis writing provides genuine insight into what is really happening and what Americans are not being made aware of in the press and the media. Itâs a somewhat uncomfortable topic for everyone on both sides of the border but it needs to be told," said McCracken. "Lawless Borders isnât a âsolutionsâ piece⦠itâs not about anti-immigration⦠itâs about the reality of a situation that has gone way too far. Lives are being sacrificed, human beings are being bitterly abused, folks are being terrorized in their own homes, America, as we know it, is rapidly disappearing. Hopefully when folks get a taste of the untold truths they will make a personal decision to be a part of a solution for all involved⦠bottom line, the book is a call to action!â
McCracken is asking that anyone with a personal story regarding the US/Mexico border submit it for possible inclusion in Lawless Borders. She is only accepting stories for a short time; selected stories will be considered for publication. For full submissions information go to http://www.lawlessborders.com or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your story of 500 words or less.
