Goodyear, AZ (PressExposure) August 22, 2011 -- When it came to choosing the best partner to launch his new single "Crush" to urban radio, Qupid made an easy choice. The up and coming rap artist referred to by True Magazine as the realest rapper in the game, went with "real" experience. Qupid determined the expertise and experience of music exec, Ian D'Souza, was the right decision to take his career to the next level.
It hasn't been an easy ride for Qupid in his personal life or his career. The young rapper spent his younger years in trouble with the law, in and out of Chicago's jail system on drug charges. He became a victim of the streets as so many young men do living in a destitute, poverty stricken, under privileged environment. Qupid didn't let that stop him though. Although life has definitely thrown him a great deal of sorrow, he doesn't let the difficulties of his past set him back. Instead, as an artist he uses the experiences he has overcome to write lyrics that are real.
Trying to stay positive and focus has always been Qupid's approach to life. Qupid has made appearances on DJ Green Lantern's "Dirty Invasion" mixtape, "Coast to Coast Mixtape Volume 134" hosted by 50 Cent and he was featured in the Wiz Khalifa issue of True Magazine.
Letting the past be the past and diligently working to secure his future as a prominent urban artist, Qupid sought the assistance of Ian D'Souza because of his vast knowledge and veteran status in the industry. "Seeking to move my career forward, I looked at a lot of different service providers to take my single to radio and give me guidance in the general direction I wanted to go. The level of personal service, professionalism and experience that I have received from Ian and his staff has been exceptional," says Qupid.
When asked about Qupid, D'Souza said, "Qupid is a talented young man and with the proper professional guidance, and strategic partnerships, he has a bright future to look forward to. It has been a pleasure to be the partner he chose to take "Crush" to radio." Qupid's single "Crush" can be heard on major urban radio stations and is available at itunes, Amazon, Rhapsody and other online music retailers.
