Melville, NY (PressExposure) October 11, 2013 -- Rose Miranda, also known as Rainbow Rosie, is a member of the World's Clown Association, Amityville Chamber of Commerce and Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce. At first she worked as a clown, but in 2010 she began painting kid's faces. Her performances were highly appreciated and soon she had to hire a team of part-time assistants.
Rainbow Rosie has worked at all kinds of parties, street festivals, fairs, day camps, day cares, fundraisers, nursing homes, grand openings, company picnics, community and church events. In the next two weeks she is partnering with The White Post Farms to paint children's faces at the Fall Farm Festival 2013.
The annual 6-week festival takes place in Melville, NY beginning September 21st and ending October 27th. The farm caters primarily to children and has numerous attractions - pumpkin picking, pig racing, a magic show, bird barn, K9 Kings flying dog show, unlimited hayrides, face painting and more. All of this is included with the festival admission fee of $10 on weekdays and $16 on weekends.
Rainbow Rosie will be painting faces on October 12th, 13th, 14th, 19th, 20th, 26th, 27th. After the festival is over, you can still find her there on the Thanksgiving weekend and the week before Christmas. Rose also plans on attending the 2014 East Coast Face Painting Convention in Windsor Locks, CT to further expand her skill set.
