ReaConverter 6.8: Time-Saving Image Converter Offers New Tools and Formats

Seattle, Washington Dc (PressExposure) October 01, 2012 -- ReaConverter 6.8: Time-Saving Image Converter Offers New Tools and Formats

ReaSoft Development has released the new version of ReaConverter, its popular time-saving program for batch image conversion and editing. Besides the widest range of supported image formats and image editing actions, ReaConverter 6.8 now offers the following new features and opportunities: ability to convert PDF/EPS/AI files with anti-aliasing option, support for a new RAW format (RW2 from Panasonic Lumix), support for new cameras, new editing tools and more.

ReaConverter was originally developed as a great time-saver for people whose work involves converting and editing lots of images every day. Many professional photographers, web designers and illustrators from all over the world appreciate this program for its ability to batch convert images from 400+ source formats into 60 common and advanced output formats. Batch processing of images, which saves hours of monotonous work, is also supported. Besides, ReaConverter can be integrated with context menu, so that the user could use convenient right-click image conversion.

ReaConverter works the following way: the user makes a list of images and composes a set of actions, which will be applied to the chosen files. Frequently used action sets can be saved and loaded later, in order to save the user's time.

What can be included into the action set? ReaConverter's range of editing options includes such image processing actions as Rotate, Mirror, Crop, Resize, Add border, Add shadow, Color replace, Remove noise; image effects like Blur, Sharpen, Gaussian blur, Split blur, Color noise, Mono noise, Fisheye and many others. Automatic processing options are also available: Automatic rotate and Automatic crop. Image adjust actions include RGB, HLS (Hue/Luminance/Saturation), HSV (Hue/Saturation/Value), Brightness and Contrast. As for watermarking, ReaConverter supports both image and text watermarks. After composing an action set the user can see the potential results in ReaConverter's Preview window.

Being a combination of high efficiency and sheer simplicity, ReaConverter has won 5 cows at Tucows.com and Editors Rating and Download.com. However, ReaSoft team constantly works to make ReaConverter better. The newly released version 6.8 supports more cameras and reads RAW formats better; support for RW2 files has also been added (RW2 is a Panasonic Lumix raw image format). In addition to this, among ReaConverter's new features there is an opportunity to convert PDF/ EPS/ AI files with anti-aliasing option and to convert RAW images with color correction and denoise filter. The variety of editing options has been enriched with Photo filter, Invert and Remove lens distortion.
